On October 1st, 2020, Pigro will be in Milan and live streaming for the final of the Atena Startup Battle, competing among 20 selected startups.

We are proud to announce that Pigro has been selected as one of the 20 finalists at the Atena Startup Battle, the competition that rewards innovation and entrepreneurship in Italy. On October 1st, the physical venue of Talent Garden Calabiana in Milan will host the first Italian edition of the battle, which will also be streamed live.

Organized by four major players in the fintech and digital innovation sectors (TMP Group S.r.l., Talent Garden S.p.A., Two Hundred, and the law firm Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli & Partners), the challenge aims to offer Italian startups a prestigious stage to present their projects and compete for a prize worth €50,000 in legal consultancy, communication, digital networking, and equity crowdfunding investment services.

The Final

After an initial selection phase, Pigro, which provides AI solutions for Knowledge Management and Customer Service, was chosen among the 20 startups competing in the final, taking place on October 1st.

The final will be divided into two phases:

  • The first phase features pitches from all the finalists, where team skills, project feasibility, level of innovation and originality, market and customer fit, and the quality of the business plan will be presented and evaluated.

  • After selecting the 10 most promising projects, the second phase begins. In this round, the finalists will pitch again, and aspects such as presentation clarity, product/service development stage, degree of innovation and originality, competitive landscape and positioning, audience engagement, and public speaking skills will be assessed.

At the end of this phase, the winning startup will be announced and awarded €50,000 worth of services and consultancy.

In addition to the battle, attendees will also be able to join workshops and round tables addressing key topics in the sector, featuring prominent guest speakers. These sessions will be open to both industry professionals and enthusiasts.
